I've finally planted my first herb garden. I've been wanting one for years. I've had a hard time finding seedlings since it's the wrong time of year to start an herb garden. They all treat me like I'm crazy. But I don't care since Heinz is going to make me a green house for the winter.
I've already had some of the basil, which looks the best (in the left pot). I made a fresh tomato, basil, and mozzarella salad yesterday. YUM-O!

Ohhh, basil, tomato and mozzarella is my favorite combination!
I want one of these, too, but I need something that will flourish under the flourescent light in my kitchen.
Was this a test-run for when Stephanie and I start having lunch at your house?
How about a Peach-and-Brie Quesadilla with Lime-Honey Dipping Sauce? (It uses fresh chives.)
That Peach-and-Brie Quesadilla is DA BOMB!
Yeah, I assume you're just testing recipes for us because our palates are very refined.
Okay. Leah, did you know my mom listed "herb garden" as one of her reasons not to start hospice? Isn't that too funny? Someone must REALLY love her cooking around here!!
